Welcome to FMFP 2026

Advancing Fluid Science for a Sustainable and Innovative Future

The 13th International and 53rd National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP 2026) will be hosted by the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India, from 10–12 December 2026.

Established in 1969, FMFP is a distinguished conference series organized under the aegis of the National Society for Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (NSFMFP). Over the years, it has grown into a globally recognized platform that brings together researchers, academicians, industry leaders, and students from around the world to share insights and showcase advances in fluid mechanics and fluid power.

FMFP 2026 aims to promote international collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange across a broad range of topics, including but not limited to theoretical, computational, and experimental fluid dynamics and heat transfer, as well as fluid power systems and energy applications. The conference will provide an engaging environment for discussing emerging challenges, pioneering methodologies, and transformative technologies shaping the future of the field.

In addition to the main conference, NSFMFP is committed to fostering the next generation of researchers through dedicated workshops and training programs focused on advanced research methodologies. These initiatives are designed to support early-career researchers and encourage students worldwide to pursue impactful research in fluid science and engineering.

Participants are warmly invited to join FMFP 2026 in India for a stimulating academic experience, meaningful collaborations, and a vibrant exchange of ideas.
